Braised Pork with Peanuts



Ingredients:
- Peanuts (skinless)
- Pork Knuckle/ Trotter
- Ginger
- Mushroom

Prepare the ingredient:
1. Blanch pig knuckle/ trotter in hot water to remove gamey smell and blood residue
2. Rinse pork knuckle/ trotter in cold water to give a springy texture
3. Soak dried mushroom in water for 1 hour

How to cook:
1. Stir fry peanuts until golden brown
2. Heat up wok, add some oil, add in ginger slices to stir fry
3. Pour in pork knuckle to stir fry
4. Add in some water, followed by oyster sauce and light soya sauce and 1 tsp of sugar
5. Add in mushroom, followed by mushroom
6. Allow it to braise for 20 mins.
